The parts cleaning continues. Here I have Reed James Neo NBucker P2 shape pickups. They have pole pieces arranged in a P pickup shape and are a pretty interesting pair. Sonically, they are awesome. You get a really tight and focused sound. It’s in my estimation, a bit more of a compressed tone than your typical dual coil pickups. It has a lot of depth and carries a great finger tone with it as well.
As I continue to experiment with sounds and parts, I sell the parts.
The pickup pole pieces support a 19mm string spacing. It’s a direct drop in for any Bartolini or Nordstrand P2 shaped pickups.
As you may know Reed James pickups are real quality and is an upgrade to any bass.
