Are you looking for a crazy padded case? Or, a heavy-duty winter case, perhaps?
I'm selling a used Reunion Blues double bass case. It's 3/4 size (a "roomy" 3/4 at that), maroon, and built like a tank. I've had it for a few years and it is offers some of the best protection you can find in terms of both padding and stemming temperature fluctuation. All parts of the case are still in very good condition including zippers, velcro, backpack straps, cushion and handles. Due to the strap on my Bass Buggy, some of the cushion around the neck has bunched up a little - I'm sure it's an easy fix I just haven't done it yet.
Lots to love about this case. One thing: it is really heavy. But, if you live in a place with bad winters and have a car and a wheel you may not mind!
I did encounter some unlabeled wet paint (thanks NYC MTA!) a couple weeks ago, so there is a little battle scar on the front (as seen in the pics), but it's purely cosmetic.
These cases are hard to find and are quite pricey when you do. This one is priced to move.
$225 for local NYC pickup. Or, I'll entertain meeting you somewhere accessible by MTA.
If I must ship, add $25. only to the lower 48.
