This is a wonderful, immaculate Rob Allen MB-2 5-string fretless. Flame maple top with binding and lined ebony board with thumbrest extension. Chambered ash body. Birdseye maple neck.
Plays effortlessly and super light at just over 6 lbs. Super expressive and powerful all over the fingerboard. I bought it recently, and have had terrific feedback with respect to how it fills the room and sits in the mix, but my current gig has shifted almost exclusively to upright. Rob is getting ready to retire, so instruments like this are fewer and farther between.
Ships in its original structured & highly protective Pro-Tec bag/case with original docs. I'll throw in a great GruvGear leather strap I've been using with it. The only adjustment I made was to add dual-design straplocks. I'll include those as well as the original buttons. The only mark on the bass is a small scratch on the side of the upper horn (pictured in the side profile shot).
