This is a really great Rob Allen. Body is alder and I think the top under the copper finish is also alder, at least the grain looks like it. The neck is birdseye maple with a nice Goncalo Alves fingerboard. I've had a few Mouse basses and this one sounds terrific and plays so easily. Controls are volume by the G string and pickup blend by the E string. Only magnetic pickups, there's no piezo on this bass.
The top binding is separating in several places, mostly in the tight bends on the waist of the body. I've put some DeOxIt on the pots but the blend pot is still scratchy sounding, might need to be replaced. Condition is excellent but it's been played and has some dings and minor scratches and player wear. Comes in the original Rob Allen gigbag.
