For sale is a MINT condition, as new Sadowsky Metro Express 5 string jazz bass guitar. Maple neck and fingerboard and ash body. Light weight it weighs 8.5 lbs. I bought this brand new from Bass & Beyond in Sacramento. Jaun told me and it was verified by Roger Sadowsky himself that this was one of the last ones to come from Japan. Not to be confused with the current China made Metro Express models that sell for $900. Not the same animal. As explained to me in an e-mail from Roger, these are very close to the German MetroLine basses that are going for $3500 new. This a 21 fret bass on 34" scale. Super comfortable to play and killer tone with a good B string. The pre-amp has the active/passive control and the Vintage tone control. It will be shipped in a Gator hard shell ATA case.
