For sale Sadowsky Masterbuilt Single Cut 24 Fret 4 String 7.52lbs

Up for sale is a German made Sadowsky Masterbuilt Single Cut 24 Fret Modern 4 String with Switchable Mid Boost circuit. I purchased this new from Fret Nation in January 2022 for $5900. I’m selling because I’ve come to realize that modern soapbar pups aren’t my thing, although I love the balance and natural resonance of the singlecut. The Sadowsky Singlecut is a sleek design with extended contact between neck and body which facilitates enhanced resonance. These pups pack lots of punch and have a strong midrange tone with a sharper attack, while I really prefer a warmer/rounder single coil tone per J or P bass.

It’s in excellent condition and would be “as new” except for slight wear on the neck pickup cover from my thumbnail as I typically rest my thumb on the E string. It comes with a sturdy new Sadowsky Portabag and all original documentation in a nice leather folder with certificate of authenticity and 3 allen wrenches. It came with Sadowsky Blue round wounds, but I immediately changed to Chrome flats and then to black nylon tape-wound flats as pictured. So, there is no fret wear. It’s been lightly used and in excellent condition. I can restring with either new Sadowsky Black Bright Nickel Rounds, new D’Addario XL Nickel Rounds, new Light GHS Boomers, new Ernie Ball Slinky Rounds or DR Stainless Steel Lo Riders if the buyer prefers.
