A beautiful instrument in exceptional condition, finished in a stunning and rare black cherry metallic. This finish defaults to a metallic burgundy, but as you’ll see in the pics, it varies based on lighting conditions and viewing angle.
I am the second owner of this amazing instrument. First owner (a fellow TB’er) bought the bass new. He was a collector, so this bass never left his home - a true case queen. On my watch, it went to church 4 or 5 times and otherwise never left its case in my smoke-free home. It plays like a dream and cosmetically is a 9.5/10, due only to one small dent on the headstock, a tiny bit of swirl on the back and a tiny hairline scratch on the back (both pictured). The bass is all original and comes with two pick guards (white pearl & tort). Original guard was the tort. S/N M7935 (late 2014 production). Bass is strung with Sadowsky blue nickels. Has Schaller strap locks installed, but also includes the original strap pegs.
