SOLD SADOWSKY ULTRA VINTAGE NYC JAZZ 5

This is a great model from Sadowsky NYC in beautiful Metallic Vintage Teal Green with matching headstock. This model represents the closest to a vintage Fender that Roger and his expert team make. The Ultra Vintage has a 20 fret neck, full size Jazz Bass body, vintage style knobs, and all the specs that a NYC model comes with including chambered body, matte nitro finish on neck etc.
I bought this stunner from tb user basses55 (and also copied most of his original ad text, thanks Mitch!).
The bass plays extremely well with super low action and no buzz. It sounds great -huge open sounds with a warm and smooth tonality, including sweet mids and highs. Records beautifully. It sits in the mix well and has a famous flexible pre that is very useful. Bass goes passive also ,with a passive tone control that works with active also. The bass comes with a hardshell case. The only change to its factory original condition is that a previous owner painted the neck pickup plastic cover in white. Both pickups are the stock NYC pickups, I have an email from Roger Sadowsky who personally confirms that.
