For sale is my beautiful Eastman VB125 Hybrid Model. I love this bass and it's hard to part with it. When I purchased it I ordered it special due to the violin corners which were not a standard option at the time and I was told that it was one of only a couple which were made at the time and was given special attention. It is also the upgraded 125 model which has hand applied varnish and a flamed back.
I purchased this in 2008 from the Loft Violin Shop in Columbus for $4500 and it has been my go to bass ever since. I played it through my entire time in college majoring in bass as well as professionally afterwards. It would make a great advanced high school and college bass or a working jazz musician bass.
It currently has a realist pickup installed which will come with it. I currently have a set of Carlos Henriquez gut strings installed which you can have with the bass or I can put on a set of d'addario. Whichever you would prefer.
This bass is "Pre-loved" meaning it does have some cosmetic wear but nothing that affects the playability or sound in the least. Once the local repair shop near me opens I will be having it repaired and relisted but not at this price.
I am open to offers as well as trades. I would be especially interested in a partial trade towards a road worn p bass or any baby bass copy such as a Ray Ramirez.
I am currently located in Pensacola, FL. but am open to sales anywhere within an 8 hour radius of that if we can split the drive distance.
