I purchased this gently used Shen SB100 from the original owner. He purchased it to transition from chelo to bass but didn’t play it much. When I received it I took it to violin maker in central PA who did a nice professional setup including planNing the fingerboard, shaping the bridge, repositioning the sound post, and getting it playing nicely (about $700 worth of work all total).
I had aspirations to become proficient on upright but after two years I just haven’t played it much. Strung with Spiro lights. Pickup in central PA region. I could meet someone between here and Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, NY, D.C., Baltimore, etc.
