This is a 30” fretless short scale bass, but doesn't sound like one...
The top of the body is 1/8" Zebrawood . The back of the guitar is a single piece of Sapele ( a cousin of mahogany, but much tougher and honestly prettier) . The body has been completely chambered throughout and has an absolutely amazing finish. The inside of the body is inlayed with copper to reduce any unwanted feedback. The body is hand carved and designed to minimize weight and improve resonance.
The neck is Mahogany with a stunning Zebrawood Fretboard. Hand Laid Turquoise Markers with white side dots. The neck has been fashioned to a thin "C” shape with a comfortable circumference making it easy to play and reach strings. White fret lines. The fretboard is radiused to a 12” for playing comfortability and the fretboard a has a slightly rounded top. The nut is 38mm wide.
The guitar is set up with two completely encased Pbass pickups. The pickups are set in the open chamber of the bass utilizing the chambered tone, and gives the player a multitude of different sounds. The controls are set up like a jazz bass volume/volume/tone.
Slotted with a bone nut.
The guitar has a Poly Blend cured finish. This helps keep the weight of the instrument down and keeps the body resonate and solid. This is a set neck guitar.
