This is a Skjold Whaleback that I sent to Pete in 2020 to have completely serviced. He completely refinished the body to get rid of any nicks as well as put in a brand new 2020 Skjold preamp. The body is nearly perfect with the exception of two tiny bumps on the top body bout and the back of the upper bout. The bridge has some wear as well just from going in and out of the bag. It is also signed on the headstock by none other than Damian Erskine!
This bass is so so nice and has been my main player until I just recently replaced it with another Skjold, so I can't justify keeping two of them. If you have played a Skjold you know how killer these basses are. I have played basses from Fodera, Elrick, Dingwall, Jerzy Drozd and I haven't found one that beats this bass.
It comes shipped in your choice of a like new gruvgear gigblade or a mono m80 that is more heavily used.
