I have a Spector Bass up for trade/sale. Ill be honest, I got a deal on it, but this is what I have to sell it for to make it worth selling. Any less and I may as well keep it.
It is in pretty good shape, not excellent to my standard, and not mint. The body has some dents/chips in it. I just picked it up and counted 5 that are all smaller the Lincoln's head on a dime. None of them are on the face of the guitar, so they are on the back and sides. No cracks at the neck pocket! I hate cracks at the neck pocket!
The NECK! the neck is in good shape, near excellent. To me, Excellent is MINT, and this neck is not MINT. SO. It is less then excellent, but its as close as it gets. There are VERY small dents in the neck and VERY few, you can feel them, but I don't really notice them when I play it, and thats what Im picky about when I buy basses. The body can be ugly and nasty, but if it has a good neck and sounds good, it will suffice. The body is not ugly and nasty, it is good. SO. DOUBLE WIN.
Now I know I said the body can be ugly and nasty and still be ok with me, BUT, the body is the reason Im selling this bass. I don't like the color. I already have a dark blue Charvel bass, and I collect Charvel. I also have like 5 or 6 OTHER basses. Im not spector guy, I don't even know what model it is, I just know its not the most expensive one out there, but if you have the money and want to donate, Id be happy to take 20K for it. Just kidding. But really....
