Only 34' scale?

How's the B string?

Just my two cents... I have a few 90s NSCR5s in 34" scale and I have a 99-00 solid maple model in 35" scale, and I like the B much more on the 34" models. The punch and clarity is a little better on the 34" somehow. (I know that seems backwards!) But I do keep the 35" down a whole step because I don't think the 34" scale would sound better at low A. Hope that helps.

I'd take a solid maple NSCR over a Euro any day. The prices that these newer Euros are fetching is crazy considering these older models are usually way cheaper and sound much better. (Again, just my opinion!)

B string is solid. No problems. Everyone has different feelings on B strings so I can really say. I think it's one of the better low Bs I've played, but I'm selling it so what do you want me to say.
It's just one more bass in my collection that's not getting use.
I had a Sandberg 5 string and the B was a bit clanky. This is more tonal.
