I am hesitantly putting up my Spector NS Pulse 5 for sale. A new project calls for a 4-string Jazz and I guess this Spector is next on the chopping block. I am the first owner, bought from Fret Nation in mid-January 2021. This is a light 7.98 lbs according to FN. Made in Korea. It’s dressed with DR Hi-Beams 45-125 in B standard, and I like my action low. Overall this is in excellent condition, I’d rate it a 9.5/10 cosmetically.
Quick spec rundown:
-35” scale
-Swamp ash body (sandblasted)
-Macassar ebony ‘board - 24 frets
-3-pc roasted maple neck
-Locking bridge
-EMG 40DC pickup set
-Tone Pump Jr preamp
I swapped out the neck EMG 40DC pickup for an EMG 40P5 for the added versatility of a P. Everything else is bone stock. Comes with the really nice Spector gig bag, the same one on the Euro series ($69.99 value if bought separately). I will include my Sweetwater review for it. It truly is a great instrument, from build quality to its signature Spector sound (the Tone Pump Jr. does a decent job. Not the best, but good enough).
$1050 includes shipping to CONUS.
Thank you!
