Up for sale is a Sterling by Musicman SB14. This is the SBMM version of the USA Sterling (confusing verbiage!!) It has the ceramic pickup, 3 way selector switch (parallel, single coil, series), smaller body, and the more "jazz bass" like neck. SBMM no longer makes SB14s so this is a rarity.
The bass is in very, very good condition, with the exception of some small chips and scuffs on the back of the body near the control cavity plate (picture #6 below). The neck is free of any defects. It has a custom white pearl pickguard on it. The original white pickguard (picture #9 below), which has yellowed slightly, will be included in the auction.
Also included in the auction is the factory Sterling by Musicman bass bag.
Shipping varies based on buyers location so the price for this bass is $410 + calculated shipping. Shipping will NOT EXCEED $40 to the Lower 48. Local pickup in the Atlanta area is also AOK.
