Hi, just selling my Sterling by Musicman Short Scale Bass in Olympic White with Rosewood Fingerboard. This bass is gorgeous both in sound and visuals! In amazing condition with only a small crack at the strap pin as seen in the last picture. Also easily the healthiest and most high quality rosewood board I've ever seen. There's been some issues with the necks on these basses but this one is really good, currently strung with DR Pure Blues 50-110 and the neck hasn't moved at all. Of this line respectfully this is the one you want, nicest finish imho and it's proper Mahogany and Rosewood.
Here are the specs
- Solid Mahogany Body
- Rosewood fingerboard on maple neck
- MM Neodymium Pickup (yes like the USA ones)
- Passive design
- 3 way selector switch (Series-Single coil-Parallel) where each is very usable (the single coil doing a really nice fat P bass sound)
- Tone knob which is very responsive unlike some other basses (ahem Fender I'm looking at you)
- Push-push volume knob with passive boost (for me not useful but it does work)
- Sterling Bridge, same as you'd see on the higher range Ray34
- Original tuners, they do the job I'll admit nothing special
- Schaller Straplocks
This is a hell of a bass and whoever gets it is very lucky! Only selling because I'm saving up for my dream bass the Gibson Ripper. You're welcome to put in an offer I do however think it's reasonably priced here. If you're not into short scales have a look on my profile as I' m selling some other basses at the moment!
