Up for sale or trade is a gorgeous & rare EB-Musicman Stingray Classic in Raspberry Sorbet (Burgundy Mist) with flame maple neck / Rosewood fingerboard, white pickguard/pickup cover- ultra rare combo. One of only 25 made by Ernie Ball.
9.9 out of 10 condition, due to a tiny ding in the neck, bass side on the rosewood (difficult to see). I have no idea how it got there. I am a former tech at Sadowsky, so I know how to set up basses and this one is set up to play wonderfully. I need to move it due to my humongous hands- I need a bass with 19mm+ spacing in order to play comfortably.
The sound is pure Stingray- growl and bite that takes no prisoners! Back off on the treble and it is as smooth as glass.
Priced to sell at $1650 w/ gig bag or interested in trading for an amber/natural Yamaha TRB JP2, Alembic Orion5/6, Roscoe LG3006, Sadowsky Metro 5 in the right color, or even a Yamaha TRB6 JP in Amber or Natural. Paypal or cash local sale.
