Custom walnut short scale bass with a big fat sidewinder mudbucker right in the sweet spot i.e. the "Mudbucket". Custom crafted body from western walnut with nitro lacquer finish, the shape being based on an old Rickenbacker knock-off that I liked. Bolt-on short scale Epiphone EB-0 neck in mint condition.
The total bass weight is 8.6 lbs.
This is a custom project by yours truly. I am a professional woodworker by trade and enjoy doing interesting bass projects on the side for fun. The bass plays nicely and sounds huge. I had always admired that woolly, muddy tone of Mel Schacher would pull off in Grand Funk Railroad, so this bass was inspired by that.
I understand it's a niche item so I try to keep my asking price in the "Squier" range. Asking $300 plus shipping.
