Hey all...I am looking to sell or trade my nearly new Trickfish Bullhead Mini 500 head for one of the following. I don't mean to be a Richard but my needs are pretty narrow and specific so I'll try to be as clear as possible.

I have listed my trade interests and what I believe I'd be willing to pay plus my amp. I could be wrong (I often am).

Trade interests are:

1. Trickfish TF112M (Mini 112 as they call it) - +$50
2. Trickfish TF110 - even
3. GRBass AT208 or AT210V - $?
4. Short scale bass like a USA G&L Fallout - $?

As for the amp, it is fantastic. Beautifully made, extremely functional and 500 watts. I only used it out once or twice. It looks new. I purchased it direct from Trickfish in late January 2023 so it's only about 8 months old. Comes with all original packaging in original box. Its sound is very transparent so if you want to hear your bass, that's what this guy will reproduce. I just honestly like a little more color to my sound and prefer it in the amp rather than pedals.

I'm in the SF Bay Area so happy to meet up somewhere. I am looking for newish condition cabs...not something that's been beat up.

Sale price is $550 and includes CONUS UPS ground or USPS priority shipping. Trade value is somewhere in the $650 range.

Ships with original box, power cord and all packaging. I'll toss in a nice speaker cable as well!

How would you describe the tone charachter of these amps
I'm really not well versed in all the detailed tone descriptions and characteristics of amps, but if you pushed me, I'd say it's very neutral and transparent. Transmits what you put it into it without much color. Of course you can season up with bass, mids and treble, but there are no scoop or boost buttons. It's clean and simple.

Having said all that, I like some of those things and for me not having them, while not a problem, is not what I was looking for. Just being honest here.

It's got a Mike Pope designed preamp and for many it's the perfect character.

I hope that helps. It's really a very nice, clean, beautifully made, good looking bass amp. Does its job well!
