as mentioned in the orignal thread the stereo didn't work. i had the bass professionally rewired. now it sounds totally sweet. it has a recent setup and new chrome xl flats. i didn't mean to get rid of this bass, but gas struck me again. i need to fund the purchase of a musicman bass. so cash only please. i'm looking for 700 shipped in the us. you can view some more pics at here https://plus.google.com/photos/107269000922905362151/albums/5687127999084566593

I just posted about trading my Mapleglo Univox stereo bass for a Jetglo version (don't want to refinish my otherwise mint example) but just saw your Jetglo post. I'm probably gonna kill myself for this later, but getting a Jetglo is more important to me right now than keeping my Mesa D-180 head. If your interested we can talk details later. Let me know.

thats an interesting offer. i'll have to find out more about it. i really do have my heart set on a vb-2. the deal i though i had fell through so i'll open this up to trades.

this bass has two truss rods. i never would have guessed it, but i had to check. it weighs 8.6 lbs by the bathroom scale method.

added a few pictures to the web album. i tried to get a good picture of the bridge. there is a slight amount of tail lift, but not much. one could fit a pick in the gap, but not a penny or dime. btw, i have a gig bag to go with this. has schaller strap locks installed.

I haven't been able to access those photos and I've tried 3 different computers/locations. Can you post them on Facebook (public access) or some other internet location. I'm sure I'm not the only one having problems.

Do you have any soundclips that I can hear? I'm just curious how it holds up with actual Ric's and especially if it's better!
