The upright bass I have for sale is an Upton Bohemian Hybrid model. It is a standard scale. It has position dots, an extended solo fingerboard, and the awesome Irving Sloan tuners. It has the leather bumpers. It has adjustable bridge risers, a Revolution Solo ll bass pickup installed and includes a David Gage Realist Docking Station. The original strings are on it, they are Spirocore S42, still sound great. I have the original Upton scale stick also. It’s the best sounding and playing instrument I have ever owned. It’s very beautiful, the finish has a touch of red in it which really sets it off. I used it mainly for Bluegrass, but it sounded great when the jazzgrass guys showed up, it filled every room.
There are two quivers, and several mutes, including the “Bluegrass” mute. The bag is the top of the line Mooradian, and is silver. Included are an extra set of brand new S42’s, and a Codabow Infinity(French). Included tools include a sound post tool. There’s even a Simandl included.
The Codabow has a solid Artino case, and it is really nice. I used it on a total of about five songs. There are also Upton shirts and hats. The amp is a Fender Rumble 40, and has a Studio Slips cover(awesome) with all pockets,handles and straps. It’s a very light amp setup, but was very effective. There is a bass wheel that has never been used. The microphone is an Audio Technica ATM350 with all attachments, and a XLR cable.
This bass has never left my house more 9-10 times, and even then the gigs were usually just an hour, all very local.
There is a new Fdeck included.
