USACG '54 P bass
~ 2 piece light weight alder body finished in tru oil
~ maple capped maple neck finished in gloss medium tint nitro, 1 1/2" nut width
~ Hipsot Ultralite USA tuners
~ Fender vintage style bridge, barrel knobs and '54 chrome control plate
~ 250k CTS pots, .047 tone capacitor
~ Lindy Fralin '51 split humbucking single coil pickup
~ La Bella .045-.105 Flat wound strings
~ Dunlop dual design strap locks
~ Like new Factory Fender case
There are 2 issues, there is a indentation in the finish above the bridge where my 2nd straplock rubs when I put the bass in it's gig bag on gigs and the E string nut slot is shimmed with a tiny piece of paper as the sot it filed a hair low. The finish on the body is between a gloss and satin. The truss rod, hardware and electronics all work perfectly.
I know you read it hear all the time but this bass plays like butter. It weighs 8 lbs (yes 8 lbs) and sounds deep, clear and punchy. The neck was finished and the bass was completely assembled, fret leveled, crowned, polished and setup by Eric of Eric's Guitar Shop in Van Van Nuys California. It has only had the flat wound string on it so there is virtually no fret wear.
$499 plus $60 shipping to CONUS. If shipping costs less I will refund the difference back to the buyer, if it costs more I will absorb the difference. I use only new shipping boxes and materials to pack basses, assuring your bass to be safe in transit.
Thank you for looking.
