Details

Excellent condition Amber light Walter Woods. The amp has a custom XLR out, instead of the standard 1/4 inch out. Comes with soft bag and 1 SpeakOn Cable and an extra fuse taped to the bottom of the amp. I'm selling because I also own a blue light, and only need one.

Was the custom XLR ordered from WW or was it after the fact?

I'm not sure. The previous owner held a prestigious roll in symphony orchestra in the US, and took meticulous care of the amp, so if Walter didn't do the job someone capable did. I've gotten nothing but compliments from front of house engineers who've used the DI.

What's under the tape on the bottom? Extra fuses?

When the Electracoustic came out in '95 it had a XLR DI on it. Walter had a lot problems with it and ditched it after the first year and gave up on it for a 1/4" line out and recommended getting a DI box...ugh! I doubt Walter installed this one.

The DI sounds phenomenal, and from what the previous owner told me, it was modified years ago, and has worked flawlessly. If anyone potential buyer is concerned about the DI, I'll gladly provide a recording and video to confirm everything functions as it should.

I have an amber light that I use for both upright and electric playing. Similar year to this one. It’s the best sounding amp (still after all the years) for both instruments. I sold all other amps. Nothing compares to the upright sound. Nothing. And it works beautifully with electric as well. Amber light version has TONS of power. This is a great deal on a great amp. Someone should snatch this immediately
