I never thought I would sell this beauty but she doesn't get as much playing time as she used to. She is in excellent condition. The neck is straight, plays super fast, the action is superb. This thing plays like pure butter.
I have done some serious modifications to this thing: Hipshot Ultralite Tuners, Delano SBC 6 HE/S dual-coil pickups, Delano Sonar 3-band preamp with three-way selectable mids, series/single-coil switch. (I DO NOT have the original MEC pickups and preamp)
In single-coil mode, you get all the original growly Thumb tone.
In series mode, the tone is like that of a Roscoe/Ken Smith -- growly, midsy, burpy tone.
Therefore, it's like having two basses in one!
The bass comes black Warwick strap locks and is strung with DR Sunbeam strings. Bass ships in a deluxe Warwick Rockbag and comes with a Warwick User Kit.
This truly is a dream bass!
