I am selling this six string fretless bass. first off, I can't play six string bass or fretless, it's been sitting in my closet for to many years, it's time it finds a new/good home. I got it from a Yamaha employee 2007, he told me that it was made in the custom shop in Los Angeles. Aside from that, that is all I know really about it, it has no model number listed. as you can see from the photos the bass is not "Mint" condition. having said that, it plays great, trussrod works perfectly. weighs 10 pounds 10 ounces 19mm string spacing two octave neck (24 frets worth of fretless) ships with Gigbag price 1500.00 shipping included in the USA
Its a take on the TRBJP, the John Pattitucci models. they never made them fretless though. Looks like a standard TRBJP body but the neck of course is completely different than standard. Stunning bass. I already have a heavily customized TRB6PII Fretless, but this is make me reconsider my need for both kidneys.
That's a lotta bass, boys! edit: Just noticed that the mid-pot is stacked. I am guessing that the preamp has been replaced. You might want to snap a solid shot of the control cavity. This is a fantastic offering.
