SOLD Yamaha TRBJP2

Folks,

Mint, like new condition, modified with different pickups and preamp. This setup unequivocally works for this bass. Terms of art of course since they mean and sound different for each individual, but overall (IMHO), it is more powerful with punch/clarity and warmth, overall. It really is a different sort of animal from the original...not that the original setup was bad by any means.

Note: The bathroom scale = 11.6 lbs.

Pickups: altri bassi: TRB6® Modern Bucker

Note: No modifications were made to the pickup cavities because they are direct replacements for TRB6s. I purchased them directly from Mama.

Preamp: UNI-PRE 5 Knob

Note: Minor routing was completed by a luthier to make room in the cavity for the East preamp. Cavity was also shielded. I purchased the preamp directly from Mr. East.

The luthier also made an ebony pickup ramp. Its attached with double sided tape and can be removed if its not your thing.

Bass is currently set up with brand new Labella RX-N6A nickels, 030-118 (XL Scale) and low action.

Bass is a few months old and the pickups, preamp, ramp and luthier work was $1100.00.
