Bass cleaned up nicely, not a ding of paint missing. I gave the truss rod a quarter turn and added new flatwounds as shown. To me, it plays fine and is, WOW, UNDER 7lbs.
I won't comment on the subjective matters of "neck dive", hardware quality, pickup sound or "vibe", simply, it works as is or can be your dream project launch pad!
I don't make one dime on this...and I know, a lot has changed in 10 years, many more choices in the price range etc., but if you want a "time capsule Jay Turser", I'm going to say HERE IT IS!
To keep cost low, Let's use YOUR FEDEX or other shipper, if you get a discount. Or pick it up in Central TX. If I have to ship, assume $80 in lower USA.
