It is exactly what it says, a thumb rest that does not require any holes to be drilled or even tape applied. It is the clear model for the short scale Stingray. It fits either the Ernie Ball or the Sterling models.
It was on my Ernie Ball for about a day then I put it on my SBMM for a few hours. I've never played with a thumb rest before and it didn't work for me.
