1890’s Czech flatback in good shape, negotiable. Bought it 4 years ago in Houston during high school and now selling it. Located in Edinburg, Texas but am willing to drive a reasonable distance. Appraised for 10k before extensive work has been done.
Bass has a very boomy, assertive and full tone. Can double check that on the video link.

Bass has been extensively worked on by Joey Naeger from Katy, specifically adding a C-Extension, carving the neck for a smaller and comfortable feel in the hand, fingerboard extension, bridge work, 2 pegs replaced and remaining 2 cut for extension access, side bumpers, and even nubs on the side of the fingerboard for feel of the geography.
Reason why I haven’t had a neck graft done is that it would then move every note even higher into the bass and harder to reach around the rib to play the higher octave for someone like me. (I am 5’9”)
Recently the back has been worked on by my local string shop, Bosky, so it is in top shape to be played on. Here are a few photos and a video of me playing Bach, Vanhal and a few excerpts.
