1936 King Moretone double bass, serial # 760. In pretty extraordinary condition, considering age. No breaks or major repairs are evident. Worst blemish is a small area of outer lamination missing on the lower bout. The tone is nicely focused, with a very even and consistent note response. Despiau adjustable bridge, upgrade endpin, Realist Lifeline pickup. I believe it's strung with Helicore Pizz Mediums. Includes a Protec bag, and Hercules stand. $3500 firm, local pickup only.
