All original 1969 (possibly early 1970) Dan Armstrong Bass. Excellent cosmetic condition and perfect functional condition. The only significant wear is on the pickup cover (see photos).
Recently serviced by my professional tech, Darrel Gilbert of the Gibson Artist Relations Center in NYC. Frets leveled, crowned, and polished. Electronics and bridge inspected and cleaned.
The only modification was to help fit modern roundwound strings. Darrel enlarged the holes on the stock Grover tuners and widened the tailpiece slots. If you've owned stock Dan Armstrong basses, you'll know the struggle was real LOL.
Strung with a fresh set of GHS Balanced Nickels. Low, effortless action up and down the neck.
Selling because I just can't get my fingers around short scale basses as a 6'2" freak with giant hands.
