1972 Gibson EB-0
This fine instrument is in nice original condition and produces the exact sounds you want out of an EB-0. Pickup and electronics appear original and unmolested. I put a Hipshot bridge on it to preserve the original two point bridge. The Hipshot fits in the original holes with no modification. The bridge cover doesn't fit over the Hipshot, though. Both the original bridge and bridge cover are included. Note one photo shows discoloration on the neck at the third and fifth frets. It's discoloration only. I don't feel wear on the neck itself. Frets are in good condition. Some nicks and bumps on the body, but overall a quite nice appearance.
A fellow TB'er indicated this appears to be a 1973 model, but the serial number suggests 1972.
A Gibson bass of this era is a fine instrument. Solid feeling, good finish. The Les Paul Jr. Tribute model that came out a few years ago is not in the same ballpark, finish or sound wise.
A gig bag is included, but it's not a short scale bag and is only to protect the bass for shipping.
