1973 Fender Precision Mocha

Plays amazing… looks, sounds and feels great. Action is low and slinky with no buzzes. It is a killer P.

With the checking and a few battle scars, she is a beautifully aged 47 yo. The back has some buckle rash and heavy checking. There is a crack in the lacquer by the heel joint that is only in the finish. (See photos) Neck & frets are in great shape.

Everything is original EXCEPT … the output jack, and the intonation screws on the D string.

OHSC has been worked hard, duct tape on the handle, and some dings … but the latches and hinges work and keep the bass safe-ish.

Neck: Maple neck with “C” profile, solid maple neck/fingerboard, 7.25” radius, dot inlays

Neck Thickness: .89” at 1st fret, 1.02” at 12th fret

Nut width: just shy of 1 5/8”

Pick Ups / Hardware: Open back tuners, split single coil (rated @ 10.6 Ohms)

Weight: 8 lbs 4.6 oz

I may regret this, but I haven't been playing this bass enough.

Edit: I had somebody ask me about the neck...
The neck is a solid piece of maple ! I haven’t noticed any dead spots.
