1974 Fender Precision - Light weight ash body (8.5lbs). Maple neck (B-width). Transparent walnut finish. Black pickguard. All original with the exception of the jack and bridge saddles/screws which were professionally replaced by local Atlanta luthier Jeff Rice last month (9/16). I will include the original jack and saddles with the sale. Original hard shell case and thumb rest included. I do not have the pickup or bridge guards. Truss rod works fine. Currently wearing a set of GHS precision flats.
This is a killer early 70's P-bass. Unlike many 70's Fenders, this one is light weight and the neck pocket is tight. Super snarly tone the early 70's P's are known for (get your Paul Jackson on). It appears the bass wore flats most of its life as the frets are in great shape. There are lots of dings and scratches on the body, and a few checks in the lacquer finish on the back of the headstock, but overall this bass is in great condition for a 42 year old bass.
$1650 CASH, local Atlanta pickup
$1800 shipped CONUS
Price is firm. No trades please.
Please PM me with any questions or requests for additional pics.
