Up for sale or trade is my 1987 Spector NS2A with original Korean HazLab copy preamp. Early production model with no serial number and a Non Volute neck. I think that dates it to the 1st three months of production. Transparent Blue/Teal and I have changed the hardware to Gold (except the knobs) and installed EMG active pups in place of the original passive Spector branded pups. All of the original black hardware with screws, German Schallers and original pickups will ship with it. It will ship with the case I got it with 3 years ago, a little beat but still fully functional.

The original nut broke on it not to long after I got it and I had my luthier make and install a bone nut. The bass has been played alot over its life, but the frets still have plenty of life in them, the neck is straight and the truss rod works with no issues. It does have various scratches and a wear mark from someones anchor point by the p pup. It has those fret board stickers that mimic a US. It came with them on it and they never bothered me so i left them. It is a great playing and sounding bass. Honestly I like the neck more on this than my Euro.

Open to reasonable trades. Depending on the instrument, I could throw a little cash to even up.

I have this bass and it's so ridiculously comfortable to play. That curved body is the best and the neck while thicker than I usually like, is very comfortable as well. I also paid 700 so this is a great deal here

Is this more blue than teal? I'm not getting a good read on the color.
