great condition; frets have lots of life ahead; plenty of player's wear, but only of the very best kind - the kind you want to see on an instrument like this; feels amazing

only a couple of true blems, very small one on the back of the neck, a bigger one at the bottom (where you usually see them) - marked in photos

recently had the electronics redone to 2025 Masterbuilt Thumb specs (3-band EQ, brushed metal pickups); also replaced the original tuners with Hipshot Ultralites, which greatly diminishes the neck dive

absolutely zero alterations to the bass itself; everything is 100% reversible; all original components work perfectly and stay with the bass - every last screw, wire, etc.

all work, including a fabulous pro setup, done by an authorized Warwick dealer and absolute badass (want to know more/verify, just ask)

this bass is very special (IYKYK), and it's very dear to me; the Thumb's sound, feel, and design are not for everyone, but to those it suits, it's like no other; this is an exquisite, 35-year-old, handmade example - the best of old-school German Warwick, along with the best and latest updated MEC electronics

Includes Warwick hard case, black Schaller strap locks, all original electronics and hardware, and - if you want it - a new leather Warwick strap - very broad, very nice - just a little short and a little wide for me

offers welcome, but I'll keep it before I let it go for less than what I've got in it, because it's worth that and more; honestly don't want to sell at all, but I have too many basses; I'll be listing a couple other killer Thumbs to see what draws interest; I won't be selling them all
