Looking to sell or trade my
Carvin LB76 ordered in December 1996 (Original Owner)
- 6 String
- 24 Fret (with full access cutaway)
- 34” scale
- Maple Neck-through
- Ebony Fretboard
- Poplar body wings
- Translucent Sapphire Blue
- Gold Plated Hardware
- Carvin Humbucking J pickups
- Aftermarket Bartolini NTMB 3 Band Bass Preamp (Volume, Blend, Boost/Cut Bass, Mid, & Treb with selectable mid frequencies + passive mode)
- Carvin Hardshell case (fairly beat up exterior, but still works and the interior is good.)
- Has La Bella Gold White Tape-wound strings on it. Also have a spare set of La Bella Gold Flats and D’Addario NYXLs.
- just under 9lb 1oz
- There's 1 battery box and the Bart pre is using that for 9v, but the pre will take 18v if that's your thing.
Will trade for the right 5 string, +/- cash. Something with a big sound and a tight low-B string. I'd probably use it mostly for for hip hop & R&B type stuff, or in electronic music.
While i really need something with a low-b on it, i'll consider trading for a Nordstrand Acinonyx V1, and maybe a Jazz bass or P Bass if i absolutely love them.
Would really like to keep this local to NYC if possible. I kinda despise dealing with shipping. Also it minimizes issues when buying/trading basses without seeing them in person first. I can be convinced to ship for the exact right situation.
Tried to get shots of all the little dings in the finish. Not bad for an almost 30 year old bass.
