I have for sale a 2000 Ernie Ball Music Man Sterling bass (4H and made in the USA). It has a very cool Candy Apple Red finish, a cream pearloid pickguard, rosewood board and a finished headstock. It is a real lightweight and weighs in right around 8.5 lbs. on my bathroom scale.
If you aren't familiar with Sterling basses, they are awesome. The thin, Jazz-like necks are some of the fastest I've ever played...and with the three band active preamp and the ability to switch from double to single coil, parallel to series mode, the tonal options are endless.
Overall the bass is in pretty good shape, but there are a couple of significant dings in the body (see pics) and one very minor ding on the back of the neck, none of which affect playability. It comes with the original, hardshell logo case.
I'm not really looking for any trades at this time, but if you have something that I'd be a fool to turn down...feel free to hit me up. All I can do is say no.
It is priced to sell at $775 shipped to the lower 48. I'll accept PayPal or a USPS Money Order. It is in the shop right now getting a new set of D'Addario Chromes installed and a set up, so it will be already to rock n' roll.
Please feel free to send me a "conversation" or shoot me an e-mail at [email protected] if you have any questions.
Thanks for looking!!
