This is very nice and incredibly clean example of the EBMM MIA SUB. It is a 2004; the exact "birthday" is pending from EBMM, I'll post it here as soon as I get it for those interested in those sorts of things! EDIT: This SUB was born on Feb 20, 2004. 
I picked this up in a trade, and it can't stay around since I've got a custom build on the go right now that needs paying for. Well, that and GAS for some other things too.
Things to know about this bass:
- It is teal in colour, and has the original diamond plate pickguard.
- It weighs 9.6 lbs (on my home digital bathroom scale, pretty typical for a Stingray).
- It is in extremely nice shape cosmetically. There are no dings or scrapes on the body as far as I can tell, and the neck only has 2 or 3 tiny nicks where the paint is off.
- This is a 2 band ACTIVE version of the SUB. Pots turn clean. Everything works as it should electronically.
- It would come with (and ship in) a simple gig bag (shown in the photos), which to me looks brand new.
- The neck is really quite lovely, fast playing, straight, and frets are great. Rosewood FB has nice grain.
- Overall, it looks, feels, and plays really tight.
Possible concerns? To be honest, I'm hard pressed to find any on this bass. Like any other instrument that is new to you, it'll benefit from new strings and a setup - right now the action is quite low and gives some fret buzz - but instead of setting it up to my specs and preferences, I'll leave it as is for whomever buys it to set it up themselves.

$550 USD obo shipped, tracked and insured, via CanadaPost (i.e. "regular mail") in North America, payment via Paypal or EMT if you are in Canada. Actually, if you are in Canada AND can pay via EMT then I'll definitely cut you a deal. I'll ship international (overseas) if you want, but we would definitely have to talk about shipping costs first. I generally do not ship via courier as they tend to rip everyone off, but if it would be important for you to have it sent that way, I'll consider it for extra cost.
For now, I'm going to say no trades on this one, as I could really use the funds for my custom build. EDIT - I will consider trades involving a Eastwood Sidejack 32 bass, or some sort of (semi-)hollow body.
To answer a common question - since this is an MIA bass, there should in theory not be any duty or customs charges for buyers in the US...it should be no different than if someone was shipping it to you from the state over. This has typically been the experience with the multiple basses that I've sold and shipped to the US. On my end, I make sure that it is clearly labelled and identified as an MIA bass. All that said, on the off chance that something goes awry, please note that it is the buyer's exclusive responsibility to cover any and all duties, taxes, or other charges upon arrival *if* there are any - all that stuff is between you and your government, I'm staying out of it!
