This is kind of a feeler post...I am starting my first project Bass right now and started with a couple of Squier P bodies (which I’m not fully thrilled with, but that’s a different thread) and I am left with two actually pretty nice necks(believe it or not).
the Rosewood is off a 2005 MII Affinity. It is in excellent condition with no dings as far as I can see, the truss rod operates smoothly and perfectly. The neck is pin straight...I was sure I would toss the neck immediately but have seriously considered keeping it. The bass appeared to have the original strings on it and the nut is in perfect condition The back of the neck still feels brand new and doesn’t have the worn-in feel. Fret ends need to be dressed. Overall great. Serial doesn’t verify for whatever reason.
