Up for sale is my Gibson EB 5-String bass in Natural finish. Original hard shell case included. Strung up with Rotosound Jazz flatwounds. It's very light at 7.9lbs.
This has been my main bass for nearly decade. It's been well played but not abused. There are some light bumps and bruises all over. There's one more obvious scratch on the back (picture below). I only made one permanent modification. After replacing the terrible barrel jack for the third time, I replaced it was a jack plate and a standard jack. It's been rock solid every since. I had an active preamp in the bass for a while, but I've since restored it to the original electronics.
I really hate to let this bass go but I've come to the realization that I prefer tight string spacing. The 19mm string spacing is too big for me.
