Up for sale is my 2015 Dingwall Afterburner 1. I purchased this bass directly from Dingwall in March 2015. It is in excellent condition with no dings or scratches. Everything works perfectly and as it should.
Incredible tone with an abundant of variety. Dingwall's P tone pickup is installed in the neck position. This allows for incredible P bass like tone only with my clarity and low end and well as singing highs. If there ever was piano tone in a bass, this is it. Another nice feature is the 4 way rotary switch that lets you choose from bridge pickup solo to bridge/neck in parallel to bridge/neck in SERIES to neck solo. In series mode there is no typical mid scoop like you get when you blend. The midrange of the bass is retained and with this setting you can shake the foundations.
In the first picture, front view, there is a strange reflection near the rotary and tone pot….no imperfections there at all.
The color is called trans blackburst. Neck is 5 piece maple with a wenge board. Body is alder back with a flame maple top. It will ship in the Dingwall gig bag and include the tool set.
