2015 fender USA Geddy Lee Jazz Bass. 1st year introduced. Black with Maple fingerboard, creme binding and white pearl blocks. '70s Jazz pickup spacing and Fender Geddy Lee signature high mass bridge, White pearloid pickguard, vintage style long stemmed reverse tuners. 100% stock including original molded Fender TSA case and case candy. 9lb. 2 oz.
Interesting V numbered neck plate that Fender claims has never been issued. I purchased this bass from the original owner and it arrived in its original shipping carton from Sweetwater. The neck plate issue remains a mystery.
Excellent condition with only minor play wear. Only notable exception is a small pock mark on body near jack, shown in photo, that may have been caused by a plug tip hitting. Not through to bare wood. It was there when I received it. Bass hasn't left my house.
The Geddy, though it's an exceptionally well built and sounding instrument, has a neck that's a bit more chunky than my smallish hands get along with well.
