***I'll be out of town from July 25th to August 9th, I won't be able to ship the bass until then.***

I am selling my beautiful 2016 Mapleglo Rickenbacker 4003s I acquired recently to fund a different purchase. This is an amazing bass, capable of many different sounds due to the hi gain pickups and vintage push/pull tone control.

I will write out my full disclosure on this bass.

The Good:

I have upgraded this bass with some of the best parts, including

***Hipshot Detuner (allows you to drop the low E string to a low D with the flip of a switch.

***Cove Style Treble Bezel (allows you to anchor your thumb over the bridge pickup sweet spot and fills up the hole left open when removing the pickup cover)

***Hipshot Chrome covered brass Rickenbacker replacement bridge (allows you to Palm mute your notes as you play, adds sustain, and gives far more adjustability with string height and string spacing)

Strung with Thomastik Infield Superalloy roundwounds (gorgeous sounding nickel alloy rounds that sing and last as long if not loner than any coated string, and sound WAY better.)

Also comes with the stock bridge, E string tuner, and pickup cover that originally came with the bass.

All of the original case candy is here (warranty card, cloth, case key, sticker)

I am also throwing in:
- a truss rod tool that fits perfectly for this bass
- a set of Schaller straplocks (Rickenbacker come stock with Schaller strap buttons)
- A set of Labella Low Tension flats and the original roundwound strings.

The not so good:

- I am the second owner of this bass. When I received it, the rickenbacker headstock logo was already faded as pictured.

- I have posted a photo of the only ding mark I can find on this bass. This bass has been absolutely babied by me and there are no headstock bangs or anything of the sort.

- The pickups when both maxed sound out of phase: This is purely speculation on my part, but I believe the previous owner may have reinstalled the bridge pickup backwards when they removed the pickup cover. I left it because I actually loved the out of phase sound and they immediately go back into phase if you lower either one of the pickups hardly 1/8th of a turn.

This bass is tour/gig/session ready and you will get nonstop compliments on this bass (trust me, I know) I will listen to any reasonable offers and I'd be happy to answer any questions you have about the bass.
