Another set of used Pro Steels 45 to 135. $10, These used on a Sadowsky with 5" of overwrap. They do have a few hours of play but I cleaned them in denatured alcohol for 24 hours so they sound nearly new.
Tried the Long Necks (45-125) for about 1/2 hour, not the sound I was after. Installed on a 34" scale Fodera Emperor Standard 5 (3+2 headstock) with 5" overwrap on each string. $17 (Sold!)
