Hello Everyone,
Im listing my 97 Warwick Streamer LX 4 string For Sale only. Paypal is my preferred method and shipping (50/50 split) to lower 48 only.

I've recently acquired some other gear and I must get my funds in order asap. I'm not looking for any trades so Id appreciate Pm's only in regards to cash purchases. If the bass doesn't sell and I change my mind I'll edit the post. The bass as 2 Pen-point dings that penetrate the finish 1 of which is between the P pickup and the bottom of the neck. Has 1/2 a Wenge thumbrest attached with double sided tape. There are a few small "bruises" on the bass as well that don't go very deep and can only be seen at specific angles. The Neck is in excellent condition and the frets in my opinion are in equally good condition with reasonable wear for a nearly 20 year old instrument. I had the input fixed 2 years ago and the bass has otherwise been a rock for me since I purchased it 3 years ago. I'll send more pics or a video if anyone's seriously interested in buying. I have never sold anything on these classifieds but upon request I'll give my EBay handle so my 70+ positive only feedback can be reviewed. I'm a bit torn as to selling her so price is firm. Keeping my lovely family of 90's Wenge Wicks is prob the best decision ultimately but finances are finances so here goes...

Will package with care in older gigbag. I believe in packaging and shipping items as Id like them to be if I was the buyer.

I've been looking for this bass for a while now...I have a 2014 Fender Adam Clayton Signature bass in new condition. I will do an even trade. I could care less if you resold it to make a great profit. Let me know if you are interested.

Is the thumb rest between the P & J pickups screwed in to the bass or is it secured in some other way?

It's secured with double side tape the thicker white kind. I had to cut it to fit it in and made sure to not alter the bass in doing so. The pickup height has a significant effect on the bass output so I put it in to have a consistent place to anchor my thumb, never been comfortable with the floating technique.

I'll look into it however I really need to generate funds at the moment so I'm leaning towards an outright sale. Thanks for all the replies btw.

I do love this bass and had searched for the exact model and color for years until I got it. I have a 5 string Pro M and a 99 Corvette standard 4 that I spent 2 years saving for in high school, the emotional attachment to that bass kinda takes precedent in terms of my 4 string personal value. It may be worth-less than the streamer but I pan-handled lunch my freshmen and sophomore years to get it.
