This is a wonderful bass made by Nashville legend Chopper Anderson of Alien Audio. Chopper is known for his proprietary pre amp design in tandem with Mo West. I’m not exactly sure of the date but it looks to be a more recent build simply because it’s in excellent condition. It has an alder body, maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard and Ulyate double P pickups that provide a very clean, deep and rich tone. The preamp makes this bass super versatile. Check out some of the Alien Audio videos on YouTube that give a much better explanation of how it works. The neck is perfect with very low action. It also comes with a nice gig bag. It’s a great bass. You will not be disappointed. Oh, it’s a lightweight coming in at 8.3 pounds.
