Here is a beautiful Alleva Coppola 5 string Precision bass for your consideration. Alder body, rosewood board like nothing I've ever seen, passive AC P pick-up, weighs just 8.4lbs. Feels amazing and sounds warm and rich, excellent B string, original Pro-Tec deluxe padded gig bag. Great protection, very well made! Strung with nickel rounds, flat wound set included. $5200 shipped, trades considered, top of the list is 4 or 5 string Jazz basses, 4 string P bass, but I'm open to other ideas with cash coming my way.

Also, do you happen to know what kind of rosewood board it has and if the finish is polyurethane or nitro?

I'm sorry, I don't. I bought it from Brian at Low End Bass shop. The specs in my post are what I know.

It sounds and plays really, really, good.. but for me the neck is just a bit wider than I'm comfortable with on a 4 hour gig.

No, in fact the balance is one of the reasons I bought it when I was A/Bing
It with another high end 5 string.
