Here it is, the real deal, 70's tone machine, limited edition LM5. I am the second owner. It was made in 2011 for Edward Magdariaga. His name is etched on the neck plate. I bought it on TB from a friend of Edwards who was selling it for him. Edward was in the Latin Grammy Nominated SonLokos. There are lots of videos of SonLokos with Edward playing this bass.
As far as condition, it's got a few finish dings and dongs, that are mostly hard to photograph. I had to move the glare to see the dings. There are no chips or marks that really show.
The Protec gig bag that it came to me in, is rough. The lower rear corner has been sewed up. It functions fine as a case but it's not real pretty. For an additional $100 I can swap it for an excellent, as new Protec.
The tone is undeniably 70's ash/maple. It's slightly scooped. You can dig in and get a nice grind and the bridge pickup sounds amazing solo'd.
